This is a stunning example of Trifari's casting artistry: cast in a mold to make the fur clip look like woven ribbons - amazing. Bands of clear rhinestones line both sides of the ribbons. The fur clip was patented in 1941 before the US entry into WWII, Design Patent 130,134.

It has seen a lot of history in its 83 years. Marked Trifari on the clip mechanism. Measurements - 2 1/4" by 1 3/4".

Condition: Structurally sound with fur clip mechanism that holds securely. Some finish loss, scratches, and pitting, but no peeling. The goldtone is still shiny. Looks prettier in my hand than the close-up pictures show.
