Vtg Trifari A. Philippe Rhinestone Duette Pin

This fabulous duette brooch/pin is encrusted with clear and multicolored rhinestones on the front, along with clear baguettes. This may have been a trial production piece for Trifari, as the two pieces that would ordinarily form two dress or fur clips are welded together and the piece only serves as a pin.

Although there is no maker's mark, there are two Patent numbers on the framework. I can't read one, and the other is Pat. 2050804A, applied for by Alfred Philippe on April 29, 1936, making this a piece by Trifari, designer A. It's in wonderful condition with all stones present and shining, metal in great condition.
