VTG Signed Crown Trifari Alfred Philippe Boy/Girl Figural Pins/Brooches VeryRare
This is a gorgeous vintage pair of Extremely Rare signed Crown Trifari, Boy and Girl Figural Pins, "Jon & Metze or Katrinka and Hans'", Faux Pearl and Rhinestone Brooches/Pins designed by Alfred Philippe from an estate sale.. These pins were originally designed by Alfred Philippe on October 23, 1945 in Sterling Silver with the Pat # for the Boy, 142665 and for the Girl, Pat # 142664 and both filed on July 10, 1945... Both of these pins are not Sterling Silver but set in a textured and highly detailed gold-toned metal setting which are studded with clear rhinestones and have faux pearl faces.. I believe that these were reproduced by Crown Trifari around the 50's-60's, (when looking at Trifari's Markings for dating, my best guess), as I have researched this extensively and cannot find anything else about these pieces.. The pins are in what I would consider excellent/near mint vintage condition as I have tried to show in my pictures with extremely little if any wear to the finish and or the clear rhinestones. Please look at all the pictures carefully as this is part of the description so what you see is what you will receive.. 1 3/8" long x 1" wide, and are both signed on their backs, "Trifari with a Crown over the T".
