Vtg Philippe TRIFARI Pave Rhinestone Sapphire FLOWER Figural Brooch Pin FUR CLIP. This is a rarely seen Fur Clip designed by Alfred Philippe in the 1940s. It is a solid piece designed as a beautiful Flower with wavy open-work petals and curling leaves, set in rich glossy hand-polished rhodium plating and completely encrusted in crystal chaton rhinestones. In the center there is a band of channel set baguettes encircling a grouping of 6 sprouting stamen tipped with faceted oval sapphire glass stones. "Trifari" with the Crown above the T.

Measures 2 3/4" H x 1 3/4" W. Some of the rhinestones are slightly darkening. Minor surface scratches on plating on back. Clip mechanism is tight and functions properly. Looks more exaggerated in the macro photos.
