This design was patented on 5/11/54 by Alfred Philippe, patent number 172,183. They measure 1.62" long, 1.2" wide. These are stunning and evidently rare, as the googler does not bring them up. I did find the design on Jewelrypatents. Please look at ALL photos for the best description.
