Vintage Trifari Clipmates Dress Clips & Brooch Alfred Philippe

This is a highly collectible and coveted top designer piece that is just breathtaking. It is an early Trifari piece directly attributable to Alfred Philippe. It has two patent numbers on it P2050804, which is the patent for clip mates and another patent 2066969 issued in 1936 & 1938.

This dramatic piece with a fancy tied bow design, is essentially a brooch, but the 2/2 of the brooch slide off the base mechanism to become independent dress clips. Condition: Amazing condition with no wear to the metal and all rhinestones are present and with good brightness. There are both rounds and baguettes.
