Rare 1940s brooch signed Trifari, designed by Alfred Philippe, poodle made of yellow gold plated metal (trifanium) and embellished with numerous transparent rhinestones, collar with green baguette cut rhinestones and eye with red cabochon cut rhinestone.
Regularly marked Trifari, with the crown over the letter T. This precious brooch is attributed to Alfred Philippe, designer of Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, jewelry designer for Trifari from 1930 to 1968.
