Vintage 1950s Crown Trifari Necklace by Alfred Philippe, Milk Glass with Pear Motif in Goldtone. For your consideration is a beautiful Crown Trifari designed by Alfred Philippe milk glass necklace/choker. It has a pear, carved leaf and berry motif which is quite hard to find. It features poured glass/hand molded beads with a center bib pear, measuring 1.25 inches in height. The carving on the leaves is deep and well done.
The piece shows some gilt loss (see photos) but the glass is near perfect. Otherwise, vintage condition is very good. Aesthetically pleasing and not noticeable when worn. Pend with Crown Trifari signed on the back of the pendant.
Made in the early 50s. The actual patents were approved in 1954. Measures 16 inches in length at the fullest and is adjustable.
