This is a truly stunning example of the Trifari 1940 brooch pearl belly and invisibly set sapphires flying bird pin. This brooch was designed by Alfred Philippe, and a photo of the 119436 patent is attached. The brooch measures 3" by 2 3/8". All rhinestones are present and are bright and sparkly, The faux pearl belly has slight cracking last two photos show closeup of belly from 2 angles. The rhodium plating look great.

The reverse side is marked "Trifari" with a crown, and Des Pat No 119436. It is a truly gorgeous piece in excellent condition. This brooch can be found in Brunialti American Costume Jewelry volume 2 on page 83.
