TRIFARI Queen of Hearts Necklace & Earrings, Alfred Philippe, Pre-1949, X646

Vintage Trifari "Queen of Hearts" necklace & clip-on earrings set by Alfred Philippe from the 1940's. A gold-tone setting with sparkling white rhinestones & outline hearts repeating around the necklace. In nice condition with a very little bit of visible wear to the inside plating. Pictured in Nancy Schiffer's "The Best of Costume Jewelry" in the Trifari chapter, page 117. Necklace total length is 14.5" long and 3/4" wide.

Earrings are 7/8" tall and 5/8" wide. Necklace is signed TRIFARI PAT.

PEND on the back of the clasp. Earrings are signed with Crown over TRIFARI PAT. PEND on the clip backs. Alfred Philippe received the patent for this design in January 1949 under Patent #152,359.
