This absolutely Stunning Earrings, Brooch and Necklace Parure is from the TRIFARI "Queen of Diamonds" series of 1951. This SILVER set is a RARE and absolutely wonderful addition to any jewelry collection. The Glamorous Earrings are each approximately 1 by. 75 and have hinge closures. They have a shiny Silver tone base, feature unique shapes and are adorned with Crystal colored Diamond (Lozenge) cut Rhinestones. These Beautiful Earrings are signed "TRIFARI - DESIGN PAT PEND, " with the Crown symbol.
The Gorgeous matching BROOCH is approximately 1.75" by 1.75" and has a standard pin closure. It has a shiny Silver tone base and features a unique design that overlays a six petal flower shape, over a ten point star.
It is adorned with six Crystal colored Diamond (Lozenge) cut Rhinestones and a center Crystal colored Brilliant cut Rhinestone. This Beautiful Brooch is signed "TRIFARI - PAT PEND" with the Crown symbol. The Absolutely Beautiful matching Necklace is approximately 14.5 by. 5 and has a fold-over closure.
It has a shiny Silver tone base and features a unique design that is consistent with both the Earrings and Brooch. It is adorned with twenty-five Crystal colored Diamond (Lozenge) cut Rhinestones. This Beautiful Necklace is signed "TRIFARI - PAT PEND" with the Crown symbol.
NOTEThis Beautiful "Queen of Diamonds" FULL PARURE is featured as a part of the "Jewels by Trifari" advertisement from 1951, in Julia C. Carroll's book "Costume Jewelry 202, " on page #243.
A portion of the Silver plating on each Earring has bubbled with age and has subsequently faded. To prevent further chipping, I applied sealer. Despite these imperfections, I believe these RARE SILVER Earrings are worthy of further restoration and display. The other pieces of the set are in overall GOOD condition.....
