Trifari Pat. Pend Ladybug Alfred Philippe 1952 Park Ave Zoo Series Brooch Pin

This whimsical Trifari ladybug brooch was part of the 1952 Park Avenue Zoo Collection, which was designed by Alfred Philippe. It's getting increasingly difficult to find this scarce piece. It features a dome of pretty faux pearls, with sparkling clear rhinestones and bright red rhinestone accents. Considering that this pin is over 70 years old, the finish is in pretty nice condition. There is some rubbing (finish loss) on the feet, and other points of the pin, but it's nothing that seems glaring to the naked eye when worn. Rollover clasp is in good working order. Measures approximately 1-1/8" long and about 1" wide.

Stamped in a rectangular cartouche on the back: TRIFARI PAT. Please keep in mind that vintage and preowned jewelry has a history, and will often show some minor signs of being worn over the years.
