C1960s Trifari Christmas tree brooch, designed while Alfred Philippe was the head designer. Signed by the Trifari name with a crown on the back at the base of the trunk. Cells of multi color poured glass: red, blue, and green. Unusually, pin hinge is on the bottom; spinning safety catch on the top. About 60 years old and previously owned, still in. Bent pin seen in photos has already been set right. A rhinestone replaces a glass cell at the base of the tree.
