TRIFARI Alfred Philippe Set Spring Fantasy Grand-Parure Navette Marquise Book
This Elegant TRIFARI Crown Grand-Parure from 1952 is a fantastic addition to any vintage jewelry collection. These Glamorous Earrings are each approximately 1 by.
They have a shiny Gold tone and feature a metal swirl design. Each Earring is adorned with five Clear Navette (Marquise) cut gemstones and two Clear Brilliant cut Gemstomes. They are signed "TRIFARI - PAT PEND" with the Crown symbol.
The Absolutely Beautiful Brooch compliments the other pieces perfectly. It is approximately 1.5" by 2.5" and has a standard pin closure. This Brooch features a Gold tone and a ribbon design. It is adorned with seventeen Clear Marquise cut gemstones and is signed "TRIFARI - PAT PEND" with the Crown symbol.The Stunning matching Bracelet is approximately 6.5" by 1" and has a fold over closure. It features four linked sections of decorations. Each section has an almost floral pattern which is adorned with six Clear Marquise and one Clear Brilliant cut gemstone. It is handmade and signed TRIFARI - PAT PEND. The Gorgeous Necklace is approximately 15" (with an approximate 2" by 2" decorated medallion), it has a fold-over closure and is handmade signed "TRIFARI - PAT PEND.
The Necklace medallion features a Gold tone with a wrapped floral two stem display, each stem adorned with six Clear Marquise and two Clear Brilliant cut gemstones. The gold-over closure functions, but may need minor adjustment. NOTEThis Wonderful Parure is featured in Julia C. Carroll's book "Costume Jewelry 202, " on page #247.
This set is from the "Spring Fantasy" series and is part of the "Jewels by Trifari" advertisement from 1952, where the set is displayed. I believe these pieces are in overall very GOOD condition. They have all their adornments, their metals are not tarnished and they have no obvious defects. These pieces are all functional and have "normal wear" for their vintage age.They have not been thoroughly detail cleaned/polished..... Please see photos, as they are part of the description.
