TRIFARI Alfred Philippe Queen of Diamonds Navette SILVER Set Imperfect
This absolutely Stunning Earring, Brooch and Necklace Parure is from the TRIFARI "Queen of Diamonds" series. This SILVER set is a RARE and absolutely wonderful addition to any jewelry collection.
The Glamorous Earrings are each approximately 1 by. 75 and have hinge closures.
They have a shiny Silver tone and feature unique shapes and are adorned with three Diamond (Lozenge) cut gemstones. They are handmade and signed "TRIFARI - DESIGN PAT PEND, " with the Crown symbol.
The Gorgeous matching BROOCH is approximately 1.75" by 1.75" and has a standard pin closure. It has a shiny Silver tone and features a unique design that overlays a six petal flower shape, over a ten point star. This Brooch is adorned with six Diamond (Lozenge) cut clear gemstones and a center Brilliant cut clear gemstone. It is handmade and signed "TRIFARI - PAT PEND" with the Crown symbol. The Absolutely Beautiful matching Necklace is approximately 14.5 by. 5 and has a fold-over closure. It has a shiny Silver tone and features a unique design that is consistent with both the Earrings and Brooch. This Necklace is adorned with twenty-five clear Diamond (Lozenge) cut clear gemstones. NOTEThis Beautiful "Queen of Diamonds" FULL PARURE is featured as a part of the "Jewels by Trifari" advertisement from 1951, in Julia C. Carroll's book "Costume Jewelry 202, " on page #243. A portion of the Silver plating on each Earring has bubbled with age and has subsequently chipped off. To prevent further chipping, I sealed it with paint/seal.Despite these imperfections, I believe these RARE SILVER Earrings are worthy of further restoration...... The pin on the Brooch is slightly bent, but other than that, it is in overall GOOD condition..... All pieces are fully functional and look absolutely beautiful together....
