Trifari'Alfred Philippe' Blue Enamel Lily Pin Description : rhodium plated base metal, rhinestones, enamelling Marked : Trifari with Crown Reference : Mark, construction and design (especially the muted enamel colours) date this to the Trifari 1953 spring collection, for which see TKF5827. The design revisited a 1941 pin clip (which had had an extra lower leaf) for which see Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 2, p. 100, TKF7117, and the patent reproduced below (scroll down); designer A Philippe, dated 1941.
