Trifari Alfred Philippe Lotus Flower Yellow Rose Gold Citrines Pave 123173

Rare and gorgeous Trifari Alfred Philippe lotus flower brooch - patented design from 1940. It is approximately 3.5 inches in length.

Please note: The fastener on the back side of the piece appears to have been modified by a jeweler. The original clip/pin on this design was a heavier clip/pin that would have gone on a fur or coat. Unfortunately, the original fastener was also where the Trafari mark was stamped so the Trifari mark is missing from this piece. However, I have been able to identify and verify the piece using the patent number stamped on the back at the bottom.

A copy of the design patent is in the photo gallery. Please note that there is some damage and a few of the pave stones missing on the "stem" at the bottom. There is also some metal wear commensurate with its age. Please see all photos and I've also included a short video so you can get a good look at the piece.
