Both earrings are signed TRIFARI. Washed in a soft rose gold over base metal. Set with demi-lune faux moonstone translucent glass stones, or crescents.
14 1/2L (including clasp), pendant 3 1/2W (from ring to ring), pendant drop 1 3/4L (middle drop). Earrings measure 1 x 3/4 and have tight but comfortable clip backs. Advertised in Harpers Bazaar in February 1950 as Clair de Lune. The set was part of Trifaris Silver Anniversary collection. All stones are present with no damage and tons of sparkle.Little to no wear to the gold plating. Safety clasp on the necklace works perfectly and earring backs are tight. Translated into English, the phrase Clair de Lune means Moonlight or Light of the Moon.
