TRIFARI 1950s Alfred Philippe Crystal Pearl Flower Pin Brooch

Rare 1950s TRIFARI by Alfred Philippe pearl/crystal flower brooch in very good condition. The Parisian born Alfred Philippe trained at the prestigious design school LEcole Boulle. After emigrating to the US he worked as a fine jewellery designer for William Scheer Inc.

One of the foremost manufacturing jewelers of the Art Deco era. Scheer created items for Cartier & Van Cleef & Arpels and Philippe was responsible for several full collections for these prestigious houses. Following the Crash in 1929, Philippe moved to Trifari as a designer, eventually becoming the head designer where he worked until his retirement in 1968. His fine jewelry experience strongly influenced his designs and jewelry manufacturing techniques. Length 3.5, Width 1.5.
