Rare Vintage Trifari Alfred Philippe NecklaceGreen Glass/RS/Enamel/Goldtone

Here is an extremely rare and very beautiful vintage necklace designed by Alfred Philippe, chief designer for Trifari (1930 to 1968). This stunning necklace is exquisitely fashioned with a gorgeous combination of glittering, faceted green glass rhinestones, glinting clear rhinestones and attractive accents of dark blue enamel embellishing lustrous gold tone metal. The metal has not been tested but may even be 18K gold plate over sterling, as there is a worn 18 mark on the back, on one end of the clasp. The necklace closes with a fold over, rhinestone encrusted clasp. This fabulous necklace is in a choker style and measures 14 5/8 long. It is marked with the designer's hallmark on the back of one end of the clasp while the other end has the worn out 18 mark. This jewelry is in very good vintage condition for its age with only a small amount of wear, noted mostly to the clear rhinestones that are not as bright and some enamel loss on the gold tone metal that still retains a rich golden gleam. Also noted are four clear rhinestones missing from the setting, though not very noticeable.

Rest assured, this is a stunning piece in over all wonderful vintage condition, I find the age related wear only enhances the vintage charm of this fine vintage designer jewelry. This rare and highly collectible designer necklace is a treasure find for discerning collectors of vintage Trifari jewelry and will make a wonderful and cherished addition to any fine vintage jewelry collection!
