Rare Trifari Crown Alfred Philippe Pastel Enamel Flower Garden Party Bracelet. Vintage from the 1950's. Rhinestones, enamel, gold trifanium, 1955's. Real glamour from the 1950's USA style. Bracelet has some condition issues with missing rhinestones and some scratching or missing enamel on the edges along the flowers where I estimate it is more than original.
Trifari with crown symbol over the T logo on the back of the fold-over clasp. Chain and clasp safety pins to the other side. About 9.25 inches when safety chain is fully extended. About 7.5-7.75 inches when safety clasp is open, 7 in wrist size approx. Bracelet design is about 7 inches when open, left to right, measured. Pastel: blue, yellow, pink, with green leaves. The sweet pastel colors of the enamel flowers and leaves, with gold plated and rhinestone trim. The flower set is an arrangement created by Alfred Philippe in 1955.It is a romantic follow-one-another of pastel colors, enamel small flowers in tones of lemon yellow, baby pink, and cornflower blue. Among the green leaves and at the center of each flower and between the leaves of the top and bottom are small rhinestones. Some tiny rhinestones are missing: 1 between a pink and white flower near the bar for clasping, 1 between 2 green leaves near the bar for clasping, 1 in the center of the yellow flower near the bar for clasping, 1 beneath a pink flower near the bar for clasping, 2 near the center--between 5 green leaves and under, another 2 missing near the 2nd white flower near the fold-over clasp, 1 directly beneath the 2nd white flower near the fold-over clasp, and one near the foldover clasp beside a end white flower. The flowers are meant to have their edges in gold to simulate flower movement and fold-over of petals; however some enameling may be missing in certain areas on the flower petals or near their center rhinestones.
Fold over clasp is marked with logo and works well. Condition is good with flaws.
All components are not in tact, referencing the missing rhinestones and the wear to the enameling. Reverse gold tone is in good to excellent condition, showing no wear or tarnish.
Mama wore the hell out of this amazingly beautiful bracelet. She enjoyed the parties, the dancing, the fun of life, and left this jewelry with a story that says, I have great taste but even more fun! If you are aiming for perfection, this is not the bracelet for you.
