This is a rare vintage "Crown Trifari" "Hans" figural brooch designed by the master jeweler Alfred Philippe in the 1940s. The brooch features a whimsical Dutch boy design crafted in a bright gold-tone finish over Trifanium base metal. It is accented with a faux pearl head, vibrant sapphire-blue glass rhinestones on his hat, and sparkling clear crystal rhinestones (known in the era as "Diamante") on his hands and feet.
