This is a rare and highly collectible vintage brooch from the renowned costume jewelry maker Trifari, designed by their master designer Alfred Philippe.

This piece is known as the "Lyre Bird" or "Bird of Paradise" design, patented in 1945. Design History: Patented under U. Design Patent number D142,659 on October 23, 1945.

This iconic design is one of the most sought-after vintage Trifari pieces. Materials: Crafted during the World War II era when base metals were restricted, this pin is made of genuine sterling silver, confirmed by the "sterling" marking on the back.
