CROWN TRIFARI Alfred PHILIPPE PAT. VINTAGE SWAROVSKI Flower Bouquet Brooch Pre 1955. This is a fabulous example of a Trifari Alfred Philippe brooch. The Alfred Philippe flower bouquet consist of three "flower" branches. Each branch has a cluster of three of the lightest of lilac Swarovski pear-shaped cut crystals. Underneath each of the cluster of "flowers" are two deep purple navette cut crystal "leaves" and embedded in the "stems" are thin rectangular cut clear Swarovski crystals all are cast in the high quality Trifarium silver plating. His brooch is simply elegant, brilliant, stunning and beautiful!
It is made with the superior workmanship expected from Trifari. The classic signature of the "T" with the crown is on the back along with the Pat. After an extensive search, I have been unable to locate the patent number for this design. But since it is marked Pat.
We know a patent was filed and was pending when this piece was made. Therefore, it was made prior to 1955. This beautiful vintage brooch is approximately 1.75" long and approximately 1.5" wide. This exquisite brooch is sure to compliment any sweater, scarf, jacket or little black dress it is worn on!! It is perfect for work, date night or any special occasion!
