The crown was so iconic to. TRIFARI it became part of the company's logo. This brooch was originally designed by Alfred Philippe for TRIFARI in 1944. This rendition is believed to be part of the TRIFARI "Jewels of India" collection (circa 1965) but stamps indicate it may have been made as early as 1955 possibly earlier. It features luscious oval "jelly belly" glass cabochons in emerald green and sapphire blue as well a ruby red oval faceted crystal and white foil backed rhinestones. All mounted in the yellow gold plated crown brooch setting. A truly iconic piece for any collector and jewelry fan alike. Measures 1.9 inches tall x 1.8 inches wide Simulated Emerald. Simulated emerald, sapphire, rub, and diamond crystals.
