Crown TRIFARI Alfred Philippe ENCHANTED GARDEN Pearl Brooch Earrings Pat Pend

Designed by Alfred Philippe in 1949 for Trifari's "Enchanted Garden" collection, this brooch is featured in the 1950 Mothers Day ad, Mothers of every age.... The 2" x 1 1/2" pin is formed into a wreath of gold Trifarium plate, set with faux pearls amongst clear marquise and chaton stones. Although difficult to see due to wear, it is stamped TRIFARI PAT. And was designated patent #157,533 in 1950. The 1" x 3/4" clip-on earrings, stamped with crown TRIFARI, DESIGN, PAT.

Were designated patent #170,270 in 1953. These midcentury gems are in very good vintage condition. The gold plating on all pieces, shows wear to the backs, but is nice and bright on the front. Only mild scratches are noticable under close inspection. The pearls are glossy, the rhinestones clear, and all stones are present. There are NO DEAD STONES.
