The lead designer at Trifari, Alfred Philippe developed the invisible stone setting technique while working at Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels before joining Trifari in 1930. His designs are highly sought after by collectors. This brooch is absolutely Gourgeos. The pictures don't do this Brooch justice. The shine & sparkle is amazing.
No lose or missing stone. There is no discoloration to the metal or the stones. Although this example of an invisible set brooch popped up as an example for me when I good searched a description, I have only seen mine and 2 more posted on for sale. Brooches small in size can go for a couple hundred. Mid size can go for thousands. This is a large brooch and a steal on the price. This is a piece that is rare in design and how it was made. It can be passed down in for generations to come and only grown in value.
