TRIFARI'Alfred Phillipe' Playing Card Brooches & Earrings Set. Here is a magnificent and ultra rare 1953'Alfred Phillipe' designed Trifari playing card collection set.

This fabulous set comprises of the King Of Diamonds playing card brooch, the Queen of Diamonds playing card brooch and the matching playing card earrings. The brooches and earrings are superbly constructed in exquisite detail with lustrous gold tone metal that is lavishly embellished with sparkling, brilliantly clear, red and blue rhinestones. The condition of this noble set is nothing short of spectacular for its age- the gold tone metal retains its bright sheen and the rhinestones are bright and glittering in all pieces. The King brooch measures 1.75" x 1". It is marked TRIFARI with Crown and PAT. The Queen brooch measures 1.75" x 1". The clip back earrings measure 1"x 5/8". They are marked TRIFARI with Crown, DESIGN PAT.

Pictures of the Design Patent documents for this set are included for reference. Alfred Phillipe who designed this marvelous jewelry was the head designer for Trifari from 1930 to 1968.

He was a very skilled and seasoned craftsman, formerly a designer for Van Cleef and Arpel. He created unique and fabulous costume jewelry pieces during his period with the Trifari company.

His designs became very popular and the jewelry pieces designed by him continue to be highly coveted and sought after by collectors everywhere. This is a wonderful and extremely rare complete vintage set by the designer that is truly a thrilling treasure find for any fine vintage jewelry collector!
