Fashioned with dazzling circular rhinestones that are ablaze highlights, it captures every eye within range. It's a necklace to have and to hold in your collection.

The necklace features an intricate openwork heart design decorated with sparkling stones. It would look stunning on an uncovered neckline, be it added to dress up a blouse or a pretty evening ensemble. It measures 15 1/2 in length, including the fold-over clasp. It's in excellent vintage condition and signed TRIFARI PAT PEND on the back of the clasp.

There's so much history to Trifari Jewellery. In early 1930, Alfred Philippe joined as head designer. He's considered a top master craftsman in fine jewellery for Cartier and Van Cleef and Arpels.

His designs became very popular, especially the well-known designs known as fruit salad (also known as Tutti Frutti) jewellery. The company was run from 1910 to 1975 by the originating founders and sons of those founders. Early Trifari Jewellery is very collectable, and some pieces are now very rare to find.

We do not normally clean many of our vintage items as most antique jewellery collectors and enthusiasts prefer that they are kept with the integrity of the piece and patina that occurs naturally over time.
