Alfred Philippe Crown Trifari Rhinestone Flowers in Basket Book Piece Brooch

Made in 1953 and designed by Alfred Philippe, this piece is pictured on the front cover of Costume Jewelry 202 by Julia Carroll and described on page 203. The patent # is 170208. The brooch is in great vintage condition with some dust from age, but no missing or damaged stones that we can see.

The plating is also in great vintage condition. The brooch has three "flowers" with emerald green marquis shaped stones with a semicircular "crown" that is inset with sparkling crystal rhinestones. The basket has open metal work with a clear marquis shaped stone at the base.
