Alfred Philippe Crown Trifari Jelly Belly Insect Bug Brooch

Beautiful vintage Alfred Philippe for Crown Trifari insect brooch with jelly belly Lucite body, gold-tone wings, and green glass eyes. A rare and collectible mid-century figural design with signature Crown Trifari mark.

Good vintage condition and secure clasp. Does have minor wear consistent with age of brooch and small scratch on the green jelly belly. Please see last two photos.

The brooch measures 2-1/8" wide and 1-1/4" tall. Trifari mark which showed a crown atop the letter " T "for Trifari from 1937 to 1955. I try to describe the items to the best of my ability.
