40's Empress Eugenie Alfred Philippe Crown Trifari Pave Rhinestone Pearls Brooch

RARE 1940's ALFRED PHILIPPE EMPRESS EUGENIE TRIFARI BROOCH. PAVE SET RHINESTONES, GRADUATED INVISIBLE SET BAGUETTE RHINESTONES. Rhodium over gold plated metal (The plating has a slight pink cast to it).

Rhinestone baguettes which are are channel set down the center of a long, curved, leaf area which have rows of small leaves on either side of the baguettes. The top and bottom baguette stones there are. The bottom of this leaf curls under the other design element which you see on the opposite side of the leaf. It is a long, flowing, scroll, encrusted with pave set rhinestones. Lustrous glass pearls are set in the center of it all.

A small crown of leaves, also with pave set. Of the of the pearl finishes the Princess Eugenie royal look.

N very good vintage condition for its age. Noted are typical age related issues with the plated metal which include very faint scratches on the back of the piece and slight wear to the finish in a few areas. Several of the rhinestones have darkened. A light peeled spot can be see on one pearl but this not noticeable unless looking with a loupe or as in the enlarged photos I posted to show this. All in all a beautiful, rare, piece.
