Some fine surface scratches, patina, and gold finish wear. NOTE: Some missing blue stones were replaced with vintage Swarovski crystals in the same shade, cut, and size. All remaining stones are original and intact; the chaton stones are a mix of very good to fair condition. The moonstone and ruby glass cabs are in excellent condition. The rolling centerpiece of the clasp is missing.
It appears to have been adjusted to better hold the pin, and works securely as a simple c-clasp. Back of brooch is signed TRIFARI with an ornate crown over the "T", and marked STERLING and DES. 137 on March 28th, 1944. As noted by those authors, the iconic crown brooches are considered Trifari's most famous items. And you can well see why.We carefully package each item, mostly secured in jewelry gift boxes, to help ensure the item arrives safely.
