VTG Crown Trifari Alfred Philippe Hatchet Axe Brooch Pin Moonstones 3 1/4 RARE

Welcome to Gems for Friends. Here is a Vintage Hard -To-Find Crown Trifari Brooch in the shape of an Axe/Hatchet. This piece is so unique and impressive! The brooch measures 3-1/4 inches long x 1-1/2 inches wide. The brooch consists of three faux moonstone cabochons and clear rhinestones. The main body of the brooch is goldtone metal. None of the stones are missing!

This piece was designed by Alfred Philippe for Trifari in 1941. The brooch is marked Trifari on the back and you can see the trident crown over the T.
