TRIFARI Alfred Philippe Petalettes Beau Belles Ballet Dancers 1953 BOOK PIECE

This is a pair of very hard to find unsigned Trifari "Beau Belles" dancer pins for serious Trifari collectors. They are gold plated metal with body made of opaque white molded glass stones. Advertised by Trifari in 1950 for Mother's Day, this pair of gold plated ballet dancer scatter pins called Petalettes. One male, one female; his costume and her tutu with colette set opaque white molded glass stones. Attributed Trifari, see picture of original ad. You will also find these pins in the the book by Julia C.

Carroll, Collecting Costume Jewelry, page 202. Where they are identified as Trifari designed by Alfred Philippe in 1953. These pins are not easy find, especially in such a great vintage condition. Both dancers in very good condition is a rarity!
