Vintage Crown Trifari Signed Grape Leaf Pearl & Rhinestone Silver tone Brooch

This is a vintage Crown Trifari silver tone brooch featuring a design of grape leaf shape adorned with faux pearls and rhinestones. Designed by Alfred Philippe, this classic Trifari piece exudes elegance and sophistication.

Crafted from a base metal called Trifanium, this alloy was designed to resist tarnishing and damage, which is why many vintage Trifari pieces from the 1940s onwards remain in excellent condition. Trifanium pieces were cast, filed, and polished before being finished with high-quality plating. It was often used in combination with rhinestones, Lucite, and enamel, particularly under the direction of designer Alfred Philippe. In Excellent condition, this piece was made in 1955 or maybe a bit earlier.

The "Crown Trifari" mark (a crown above the'T') was used from 1937 to 1955.
